Surf's Up!

It was homecoming week for this gorgeous family, Dad just returned from deployment and it was evident how much his family missed him. Lately I've noticed how much I "see" the family while editing the images, it's not that I don't see them while shooting, but there's something about having another look. I saw how much Melinda and Nick adored each other, they were very natural, (even though Nick was a little camera shy) nothing was forced. It's great to see that giddiness in a couple who've been married seven years. Welcome home Nick, hopefully it's a long run before the next!

The "S" Family!

Meet Steve, Sheri, Simon, and Samuel. This was one fun and energetic family! They were so easy to shoot, every time I went to set up a shot the lil' cuties would distract me with an even better shot! It was truly effortless. Thanks guys for being so willing and eager to jump in and get a little dirty, my kind of family!

A Walk In The Trees...

This past week I was fortunate enough to capture the wedding of my dear cousin Jen and her charismatic husband Chris. I can't put into words how beautiful and laid back the wedding itself was, exactly like the happy couple. Jen wore her mothers gorgeous vintage gown which not only flattered her figure but also her personality. Jen has always been independent, graceful, and elegant, and although it's been awhile since we've seen each other (seven years too long) she is the same Jen we all know and love. It's so fitting that she would find and choose someone as great as she, and she has.
